A podcast is a sound (or video file) that you can download and play on your personal computer or media player (ipod, mp3 player). You can subscribe to an automatic update - using a feedreader - that alerts you when a new podcast is available. Choose the podcast format (wma or mp3 ) to suit the player software you have installed on your computer: such as windows media player or itunes.
