Library services reopened November

Our libraries have reopened to the public from Monday 9 November. Mulgrave opened on 10 November.

Visitors to the library will be asked to limit their visit to 30 minutes, and no more than 20 customers will be allowed to use the library at any one time from Monday 23 November. At Mulgrave the limit will be 3. Anyone visiting the library will also be asked to:

  • Wear a well fitted face mask, ensuring both their nose and mouth are fully covered
  • Keep a distance of 1.5m from other customers whenever possible
  • Receive service at the screened service points only
  • Provide their name and phone number before entry for the purpose of possible contact tracing

Customers will be able to browse the shelves, collect their own reserved items, use the self-service kiosks, and book time on a PC or wi-fi hotspot. Up to 20 items can be reserved.

Opening hours remain slightly shorter than normal but will gradually ease back to their original span by the new year. Please check our website for up to date information.
