Heather Morris 2018

The Tattooist of Auschwitz is the debut novel by Heather Morris that is captivating readers everywhere. It is based on the true story of two Slovakian Jews who met and fell in love while surviving the horrors of the Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II. After the war ended the couple eventually made their way to Melbourne where they lived out their remaining years. The story remained a secret, untold until widower Lale Sokolov, the real tattooist of Auschwitz, revealed his story in his 80s to writer Heather Morris. Morris crafted this incredible true story into an equally incredible work of fiction.

Heather Morris will be interviewed by writer and journalist Claire Halliday.
