In partnership with AMES Australia we are offering a free courses to help you.
Glen Waverley Library : Thursday at 10am - 12 noon on the following dates:
7, 14, 21 & 28 February

Clayton Library : Friday at 10am - 12 noon on the following dates:
1, 8, 15 & 22 February
1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 March

We provide access to AMES language courses and Road to IELTS databases free for library members from our eLibrary Language Learning page
Conversation Circles - English
Practise your English with the help of experienced volunteers at these free sessions. It's also a great opportunity to meet people from your local area - come in for a chat!
Conversation Circles will resume the week beginning 4 February 2019 :
- Clayton Library: Tuesdays at 11am (school term only)
- Clayton Library : Saturdays at 10am (school term only)
- Glen Waverley Library: Mondays at 10am (school term only)
- Mount Waverley Library: Thursdays at 11am (school term only)
- Oakleigh Library: Fridays at 11am (school term only)
- Sessions are for 1 hour. No bookings required.
Do you get little opportunity to speak in Mandarin? Come to our free weekly program and work with our trained volunteers, who will assist you with your pronunciation and enhance your verbal and listening skills.
Participants are required to already have a basic knowledge of speaking Mandarin. For adults and teenagers.
