Seniors Using Internet

Technology classes and workshops are held regularly throughout the year. You can stay informed about upcoming programs by subscribing to our eNewsletter, following us on Facebook, or by visiting our website or any of our library branches. Our sessions are fun and free.

One on One Sessions

One on one classes can also be arranged to enable you to learn about topics such as the internet, email, eBooks. Ask at your local library about arranging a session.

Social Seniors

If you’re over 60 and would like to extend your digital skills, broaden your social networks, share your stories creatively, and connect with people on social media, Social Seniors is for you. A series of three workshops at Clayton Library. For more information and bookings.

Brain Training: Advice, apps and activities

This session will discuss what brain training means; recommended ways to keep your brain healthy and how apps can fit into a healthy routine. For more information and bookings.


Join us for free and fun digital literacy classes, helping you to learn the basics of using a computer, setting up email, using the Internet, staying safe online and much more. It is recommended that you book into all five sessions. From Thursday 12 March 2020 10:30 am and Thursday 9April 2020; 10:30am at Mount Waverley Library. For more information and bookings. myGov Support

Centrelink will be available at Glen Waverley Library or Clayton Library to provide support for library users needing to learn about and connect to myGov. Services include setting up a myGov account* and linking myGov to Centrelink and Medicare.**  From August - December 2019.

Tech Bar

Tech Bar is a casual drop-in session where you can seek help to troubleshoot technology. Our
friendly staff can assist you with your questions about a range of topics.

Topics include:
• computers
• smartphones and tablets
• email
• social media
• eLibrary resources .

Amaroo Neighbourhood Centre Tech Bar

This casual, drop-in session is held on the first Friday of each month. For more information and dates.

Mount Waverley Library Tech Bar

Held weekly during school terms only. For more information and times.
