Extreme weather conditions are increasing around the world, including here in Victoria. While sometimes staying put in your home is your safest option, there are many conditions where your local library can offer respite from heat or cold.
With summer approaching, remember us when you’re needing a free air-conditioned environment. Bring your laptop, read a book, spend time reading and playing with your young children – there are plenty of ways you can enjoy your time in comfort. Our libraries also provide cold drinking water, and places to charge phones and other devices if you’re experiencing a power outage at home.
