Refurbishment works are underway to replace the library’s roof and upgrade existing toilet facilities.
The main library building was constructed in the late 1960s and in recent times has been prone to roof leaks and flooding with existing toilet facilities no longer compliant.
Alternative toilet facilities will be made available to Library staff and visitors, next door at Mount Waverley Youth Centre, for the duration of the upgrade.
There are some changed conditions to parking nearby and some noise disruptions expected; however, where possible care we will be taken to ensure it does not impact on regular programs held in the library.
No branch closures are expected.
