Positive Ageing Support Program

Positive Ageing Support Program

The Positive Ageing Support Program assists Monash residents who are having difficulty in accessing available services and resources, ensuring they can be actively engaged with their community.

The Program’s Positive Ageing Outreach Officer can:

  • Provide advice to older residents, carers and families in relation to ageing, health and social inclusion.
  • Assist residents that may face barriers, such as language, culture, finances or transport, in accessing services.
  • Discuss possible care needs and assist with referrals to My Aged Care.
  • Provide knowledge and understanding of the range of services available.

Translation services are available if required for residents from non-English speaking backgrounds.

Free program at Clayton and Mount Waverley Libraries on selected dates.

Bookings are not required.
