Sally is a well-known speaker and writer on activism, feminism and LGBTQIA+ rights. Having worked at the forefront of the fight for marriage equality for many years,

Sally’s debut book How Powerful We Are, published by Hachette in August 2019, is about dirty politics, sophisticated digital campaigning, raw personal story and the warts-and-all journey of how Australia said yes to love in the largest social movement the country has seen.

Sally will talk about the struggle to transcend the ordinary and achieve one of the largest social movements in Australia in recent times.
