Council services on Labour Day Public Holiday

Some Council services will operate as usual on Labour Day Public Holiday (Monday 13 March 2023), while other services will be unavailable.

Waste collection

Household rubbish, recycling and green waste bins will be collected as normal.

Monash Recycling & Waste Centre

The Monash Recycling & Waste Centre will be open.

Council offices

The Civic Centre (Glen Waverley) and the Oakleigh Service Centre will be closed on Monday 13 March.

Libraries

All local library branches will be closed on Monday 13 March. Return chutes will remain open at all library branches.

Aquatic and Recreation Centres

The Clayton Aquatics and Health Club (CAHC), Monash Aquatic and Recreation Centre (MARC), and Oakleigh Recreation Centre (ORC) will be open, with some reduced hours.
