Lane closure in Pinewood Shopping Village

Incident works

We’ll be undertaking enhancement works in the laneway of the Pinewood Shopping Village - 27 Centreway, Mount Waverley - starting this Monday.

The works, aimed at improving the amenity of the precinct, will include the removal of the existing bench seats and the installation of timber hexagonal seating; installation of new aluminium bin enclosure; and painting of brickwork and planter boxes.

The project has been funded by the State Government as part of the Local Councils Outdoor Eating and Entertainment Package Grants scheme.

Works are scheduled to commence on Monday 1 August and, weather permitting, will be completed by Friday 12 August.  Work hours will be from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

To maintain the safety of workers and residents, the laneway will need to be closed at both ends for 24 hours a day until the works are completed.  This will also allow for works to progress unhindered, minimising their duration.

We’ll make every effort to minimise disruption during the works.
