Glen Waverley Activity Centre Special Levy

Pursuant to section 163 of the Local Government Act 1989, on 26 July 2022 Council declared a Special Charge for the Glen Waverley Activity Centre. This is in support of an application by the Glen Waverley Trader’s Association (GWTA).

The funds will be provided to the GWTA to defray the marketing, promotion, township management, business development and other incidental expenses associated with the encouragement of commerce.

The Special Charge applies to all commercial businesses within the boundaries of the Glen Waverley Activity Centre and the Special Charge Scheme will initially be in place from 2022 to 2027.
