Neil Slaughter

Neil has been involved with the Waverley RSL Sub-Branch since 1986 and its president for the last 8 years. He is described as the driving force behind its success. He is committed to the welfare and support of his members and also serves on the Victorian RSL State Branch Executive. He is an inspirational leader whose professionalism and business acumen is highly regarded by all he comes in contact with.

RSL State President Major General David McLachlan described Neil as an "outstanding gentleman".

“Neil has been an incredible advocate for veterans support in the Monash area. He is a most compassionate man with wonderful foresight and empathy for those for whom he feels a responsibility. He is also involved in other community projects such as the education of children within the region through the awarding of scholarships fostered by the Waverley RSL Sub-Branch.”
