Ceres Calisthenic Club

From its small beginnings in 1985, the Ceres Calisthenic Club has grown to more than 300 members from many different cultural backgrounds. The Club’s move to the Electra Community Centre in Ashwood in 2010 was a key milestone, giving the club room to expand its membership and offer more classes.

The Club is proud of its welcoming family atmosphere and participates in many community events such as the Ashwood Festival and the Active Monash Month. In 2013, the principal coach Julie Jellis won the Victorian Calisthenic Coaches Association Coach of the Year. The Club can now add another prestigious award to their trophy cabinet.
