Trudy’s story is one of persistence in the face of adversity, a story of strength and courage. Her list of achievements and advocacy is remarkable and testimony to her determination to see change for those with disabilities.

Trudy is legally blind and was born without hearing. She has devoted her life to improving the lives of others co-founding the Deafblind Victorians advocacy group to lobby for changes to benefit the deaf and blind community.

Trudy was an adviser to the Federal Government on the  National Disability Insurance Scheme.
