Gwen Clark

Gwen has devoted much of her life to volunteering in various capacities with a number of community groups. Gwen’s enthusiasm, willingness to help, and energy is legendary. She has been a member of the All Saints Church in Clayton for 52 years, providing support and friendship to all.

Gwen has been a member of the Chaplaincy/Pastoral Care team at Monash Medical Centre Clayton for the past 21 years, visiting weekly to provide a listening ear and a hand to hold for patients and their loved ones. Premmie babies at Monash Medical Centre have also benefited from Gwen’s extraordinary sewing and knitting skills.

She has also volunteered for many years at Dixon House Neighbourhood Centre. At a time when many may think about winding back, Gwen continues to reach out and help others and is an example to all of leadership at any age.
