Monash Permaculture

Monash Permaculture is an award-winning, student run community group based at Monash University. Students, staff and members of the wider community with an interest in permaculture and gardening have created a memorable garden and farm, where volunteers can harvest and take home food, garden waste is composted and there is a focus on using sustainable products for all purposes.

There are currently 25 raised beds, a shed, apiary, circular garden beds and two water tanks. This visionary group has a growing community outreach, holding workshops and partnering with other groups such as Wholefoods restaurant in its efforts to become a leader in sustainable food production and promote sustainable living.
