Each July, Monash celebrates NAIDOC Week.
NAIDOC Week is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities together within the City of Monash and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The City of Monash is situated on the traditional lands of Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong people. The diversity of First People’s heritage and contemporary culture throughout Monash is highly respected and valued.
