Mulgrave Reserve

Mulgrave Reserve Playground

Mulgrave Reserve is situated in front of picturesque views of the Dandenong Ranges and along the Dandenong Creek Trail. It also has its own walking track to enjoy.

The reserve boasts two large sporting ovals for cricket and football, wetlands and an off-leash dog area, and a playground featuring slides, swings, and other climbing equipment - perfect for the entire family.

In March 2024, new cricket nets were unveiled at the reserve - a six-wicket natural turf table and four reoriented synthetic cricket practice nets. More information: New cricket facilities

As of 1 July 2023, dogs are allowed off-leash on the west and central sportsgrounds (see map below).

Dogs are not permitted on the western and central sportsgrounds when organised sport events and training are in progress.

Dogs are not permitted in the reserve’s wetlands or mini-golf facilities at any time.

Dogs must be on-leash on the main oval (turf wicket) and 10m either side of the Dandenong Creek Trail, and must be under effective control in off-leash areas.

More information at Dog Off-Leash Areas.

A new multi-sport pavilion officially opened in March 2023, with a refreshment of existing amenities and construction of two new unisex player and umpire change rooms, a refurbished kitchen and canteen area, additional storage, a new meeting room and external public toilet facilities.
