Westerfield Drive Reserve

Westerfield Drive Reserve playspace

The Westerfield Drive Reserve playspace was upgraded in 2022.

Surrounded by vegetation, this park offers a variety of play equipment for the community to enjoy. This includes a double swing, a trampoline and a multi-play unit with shop front and slide.

Children are also able to develop their sensory skills by interacting with musical instruments such as the 8-key Marimba and the sound bouncers or sensory trails. There are also benches to relax and a chess table where chess enthusiasts can practice their game.

The playspace also features an exciting new mural co-designed by artist Hayden Dewar and First Nations artist, Ashleigh Pugh.

This project has received funding of $400,000 through the State Government’s Pocket Parks Program, which aims to create new parks and revitalise existing local parks in built up urban areas in Metropolitan Melbourne.
