Free visits to schools

Monash Council offers FREE visits to schools in the City of Monash area, presenting topics related to waste, recycling and composting.

We also offer support with:

  • Waste/recycling bin infrastructure
  • Waste audits (with students)
  • Meeting with student green teams
  • Schools Gardens for Wildlife program (free seedlings and visit)
  • Composting systems (subsided purchase through Compost Community)

Join our teacher environment network

Teachers and interested parents can join the Monash and Boroondara Teachers Environment Network (TEN). The network meets once a term to network, learn about a particular sustainability topic and participate in professional development.
