Library car park: Enter from Ferntree Gully Road 100m east of Jells Road.
  • You can walk across to the Library via the Gallery Reserve Park, from the Wheelers Hill Shopping Centre on Jells Road. 250 metres away.
  • This Library shares the same building area as the Museum of Australian Photography (MAPh) and café. There is a pond and a picnic area in front of the library.
  • There is a 24/7 external return chute. To open the chute, hold an item under the opening then pull the handle down when you hear it unlock.

     

Library Meeting Room

The Wheelers Hill Meeting Room is available for hire to commercial organisations and community groups during library opening hours. It is a versatile space with a kitchenette and data projector.

Cafe

There is an onsite cafe with meals, snacks and drinks, which is open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 4pm and Saturday/Sunday 10am to 3pm.

Justice of the Peace

A Justice of the Peace will be available to certify and witness documents on selected dates on Wednesdays 10.30am -11.30am at Wheelers Hill Library. No appointment necessary. 
Session may be cancelled at short notice due to unavailability of Justice of the Peace or Library service changes.

 Monash Public Library Service has been accredited as Communication Access friendly by Scope Australia.

Defibrillator

Wheelers Hill Library and Monash Gallery of Art have a defibrillator located in the building foyer (on the wall to the right of the fire panel door). It is available for use in emergencies.
