1. How do I access the public computers?

  • Access: You must be a library member to access the public computers.
  • What you will need: Please bring your membership card to the library or you can use the digital barcode in our library app or the wallet in your phone.
  • Not a library member? We will register you before you start your computer use. Please bring photo ID.
  • Fees and charges: Apply for printing and photocopying.

 

2. How do I book a public computer?

  • Availability: Public computers are available at all branches.
  • Booking ahead: It is advisable to book ahead if possible, you may book up to a week in advance.
  • Session length: Bookings are available for a one hour session. This session can be extended for a further hour if no one else has booked.
  • Usage: When using library computers, you must agree to the Internet Use Policy.
  • Staff assistance: Computers are for independent use and we can only provide minimal support.

Book a PC

You will need your library card number and password.

You can also book a computer by:

  • By phoning one of the library branches.
  • In person by visiting library branches.

 

3. How do I access the library Wi-Fi?

  • Availability: Wi-Fi is available to library members at all branches.
  • What you will need: You must be a library member to access the library Wi-Fi.
  • Usage: When connecting to the library Wi-Fi network, you must agree to the Internet Use Policy.
  • Wi-Fi range: Patrons can use the Wi-Fi outside of the library as well.
  • Staff assistance: This is an independent use service.

4. eReaders & Tablets

You can ask for help with your eReader or tablet at the Information Desk at any of our branches.
