Find My Past (Australia and UK) and the British Newspaper Archive

Find My Past Australia offers access to over 50 million records for Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands. Find My Past UK offers access to over 750 million records including passenger lists.
 

The British Newspaper Archive offers access to millions of online resources from British and Irish newspapers from 1703-2003. The database includes news articles, family notices, letters, obituaries, advertisements and illustrations.

Find My Past and the British Newspaper Archive are only available on library public computers.

You will need to create separate accounts for each service.

The MyHeritage Library Edition features a focus on people-based records, which contain information about both everyday people and prominent individuals across societies and periods of time. This emphasis, plus the strength of the index, enables you to access information both about specialized topics (regions, time periods) as well as social, cultural, and political trends. Location and keyword search options enable you to directly access information about a specific region or topic. It has more than 5 billion historical records from all over the world.
This database can be accessed from anywhere. Library card number required.
