On Wednesday 4 March 2026, all branches of Monash Public Library Service will close for an all-staff planning day.

This is an annual opportunity for staff from across the whole service to come together and conduct strategic reviews and plans for future library services, projects and more.

Returns can still be made throughout the day via the after hours chutes at all branches.

For urgent matters on the day, please email askmonlib@monash.vic.gov.au, as our phones will not be answered.

Branches will re-open on Thursday 5 March and staff will be able to respond to all enquiries as usual.

We thank you for your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience caused by the short closure.
