Wifi and Computers

1. Membership requirements

You must be a library member to access wi-fi and public computers. Members under 16 need to have parent/guardian permission to gain access. Please bring your membership card to the library. You can use the digital barcode in our library app or the wallet in your phone.

If you are not a library member, we will register you before you start your computer use. Please bring photo ID.

Fees and Charges apply for printing and photocopying

2. Public Computers

Public PCs are available at all branches. It is advisable to book ahead if possible, you may book up to a week in advance.

Bookings are available for a one hour session. This session can be extended for a further hour if no one else has booked.

When using library computers, you must agree to the Internet Use Policy.

PCs are for independent use and we can only provide minimal support.

Book a PC

You will need your library card number and password.

You can also book a PC by:

  • By phoning one of the library branches
  • In person by visiting library branches

3. Public Wi-Fi

Wi-fi is available to library members at all branches. 

When connecting to the library wi-fi network, you must agree to the Internet Use Policy.

Customers can use the wi-fi outside of the library as well.

4. eReaders & Tablets

You can ask for help with your eReader or tablet at the Information Desk at any of our branches.
