Sharni has made her mark in both netball and Australian rules football (AFL), showcasing her exceptional talent, leadership, and resilience. Don't miss this unique opportunity to hear from one of Australia's most celebrated athletes as she discusses her book No Apologies.
Sharni began her professional netball career in 2004, playing for elite clubs including the Adelaide Thunderbirds and Collingwood Magpies. Sharni earned 46 caps for the Australian national team, the Diamonds, and captained them in 2017. Her accolades include two Netball World Cup gold medals and a Commonwealth Games gold medal.
In 2019, Sharni transitioned to AFL, joining Collingwood's AFL Women's team. She quickly made an impact, earning All-Australian honours in 2020 and serving as vice-captain in 2021. Sharni's versatility, leadership, and resilience have made her a standout in both sports, inspiring many with her dedication and achievements.
