We’re about to start work to prepare for our exciting Glen Waverley Civic Precinct Project, with construction of an electrical substation enclosure and relocation of the Council back-up generator underway in the Glen Waverley library forecourt area.
You will still be able to enter businesses from Kingsway, with no changes to footpaths or parking along the busy street. Our Glen Waverley library and civic centre will remain open from all entrances, with some safety measures and fencing in place to keep people safe.
The library forecourt, including some of the tables and chairs, umbrellas and planter boxes, will be out of bounds for the duration of the works - which are expected to start in early-February and be completed in July.
