Wheelers Hill Meeting Room

The Wheelers Hill Meeting Room is available for hire:

To commercial organisations and community groups during the hours listed on this page.
It is a versatile space with a kitchenette and data projector.
It is suitable for a range of gatherings, from small group meetings to theatre style presentations (up to 60 attendees).
Chairs, tables and crockery are provided
Other equipment is available on request including dishwasher
Wi-Fi is available to library members (please see library staff prior to use).
Tea, coffee and sugar are not provided however there is hot water and a fridge available.

Bookings need to be made at least 4 weeks in advance.

Please note: there are charges associated with hiring this room.

Charges

As of July 1 2026.

For community groups (not-for-profit) - certificate of incorporation must be provided

Monday - Saturday - $33 per hour (includes GST)

For commercial groups

Monday - Saturday - $55 per hour (includes GST)

Sunday full day rate - $500 max 4.75 hours (includes GST)

Insurance

All community and commercial groups hiring the meeting room must hold Public Liability Insurance that indemnifies the City of Monash. Insurance must be a sum not less than $10 million. Insurance is available to purchase from the Council for $18.50 per session.
