How to search the catalogue

• Use the Search the Library Catalogue link at the top right of each page OR use the catalogue search on the home page OR use the library app.
• Enter your keywords (e.g. author and/or title)

Advanced search 

• Use advanced search if you know specific details of what you're looking for  e.g. collection or language.  Read more about our community language collections
• Fiction, non-fiction, DVDs, magazines, junior items etc are all separate collections
• Search by author, title, subject, language, collection, series title and more

Results and Filtering

You can refine or filter your search results with options such as publication date, language and audience

Other ways to find items 

• Browse items in the display on the catalogue page
• Browse What's New on the right-hand menu of the catalogue page
• Browse our booklists for Children and Youth
• Ask a staff member for a recommendation

Saving your search results

If you search the catalogue and would like to save your results, you can create a saved list to save your items. You can view them at a later date, email or download the saved list.
