Reconciliation Week

To mark Reconciliation Week 2020, Monash Public Library Service will be conducting a series of distinctive digital programs.

The first event will be a special Storytime on 28 May which people will be available to view on the library’s YouTube channel. You will find a link on the day to the Storytime via the library’s Facebook page.

The Library’s new online Film Club ,‘MonashFlix’, will be promoting screenings of The Australian Dream documentary (to mark Sorry Day on 26 May) and the classic Australian film Jedda, all available via the Beamafilm online streaming service. You will need a Monash library card number and password to access Beamafilm. You can also watch and enjoy a range of other Australian Indigenous films and documentaries from the service with your library membership. Register an account with Beamafilm.

MonashFlix’ is a closed Facebook Group. Learn more and find out how to join and contribute.

The library also has access to a range of Indigenous themed stories via the StoryBox and BorrowBox apps.

On Tuesday 26 May, the City of Monash will acknowledge Sorry Day
