3147 Love Our Street - 5 May 2024

3147 Love Our Street brings people together to look after our local environment, to keep our streets beautifully clean, and stop litter reaching Gardiners Creek and the oceans. 

We meet the first Sunday of each month for a monthly community clean up.

Sunday 5 May, 10am-11am 

Community clean-up location changes each month to target local litter hot spots. We publicise event dates and locations on social media (Facebook, private Facebook group and Instagram), details at https://linktr.ee/3147loveourstreet. 

Followed by coffee at a local café. 

Bring or wear: 

Wear sensible clothing, closed shoes, pants, long sleeves and bring a hat in summer. Volunteers need to BYO sturdy gardening gloves. 

Physical activity: 

Volunteers can join for 10 minutes or the whole hour. Any amount of time helps. You don’t have to walk very far to find trash! Children are encouraged to participate but parent supervision is always required.
