Monash Planning Scheme

Under Victoria's planning system, local councils and the State Government develop planning schemes to control land use and development.

Planning schemes are developed in accordance with planning policies and strategies. They are made up of maps and ordinances - the ordinances are policies and written clauses, and the maps depict where zones and overlays apply within the planning scheme area.

Please visit the Transport and Planning website to read details, as they will affect the design of all planning projects in Monash: Monash Planning Scheme.
