Structure Plans

Structure Plans (and Precinct Plans) aim to provide a long-term framework to guide development in and around each of the centres that are designated as the preferred focus for additional development.

Adopted Structure and Precinct Plans

There are 7 adopted structure or precinct plans for the City of Monash’s Activity Centres:

Mount Waverley

The Mount Waverley Activity Centre Structure Plan was adopted by Council on 30 March 2021.

Huntingdale

The Huntingdale Precinct Plan was adopted by Council on 27 March 2020.

Clayton

The Clayton Precinct Plan was adopted by Council on 28 January 2020.

Brandon Park

Adopted by Council in October 2013. Amendment C86, which implements the structure plan, was gazetted on 16 August 2018.

Brandon Park Major Activity Centre - Structure Plan(PDF, 1MB)

The BPMAC Structure Plan addresses both the development and management of public infrastructure, in streets and parks and walkways, and sets private property parameters for preferred land uses, built form, heights and siting

Glen Waverley

The Glen Waverley Activity Centre Masterplan was adopted by Council on 23 September 2013. The Structure Plan was adopted by Council on 30 September 2014.

Oakleigh

Oakleigh Major Activity Centre - Structure Plan(PDF, 2MB)
