Monash Carols by Candlelight - December 2023

After postponing Monash Carols by Candlelight for 24 hours due to wet weather, our event on Sunday 3 December attracted a massive crowd exceeding 15,000 people.

Special thanks to our incredible Carols by Candlelight performers, volunteers, suppliers, vendors, and emergency services personnel.

Event program

Festivities began at 5.30pm with children's activities and pre-show entertainment including our talented locals, Oakleigh Primary School Choir.

The Main Concert was at 7.30pm and featured a stellar line-up including the Monash Carols Band (comprising the Monash Concert Band and Oakleigh Brass), The Carols All Star Band, and guest soloists.

There was a special appearance by Santa and a spectacular fireworks finale.
