Council Projects

Mount Waverley Community Centre

Council regularly upgrades local facilities (including bike paths, playspaces and sporting pavilions) and leads several community projects to improve the liveability of Monash for the community.

Capital Works

These works are funded by Council, with additional funding at times from State and/or Federal governments.

Council’s 2022/23 budget includes our largest-ever Capital Works Program of $90.7 million (new and carry-forward projects). The program focuses on core services such as drainage, footpaths, road and waste improvements identified by the Monash community as important upgrades. As we slowly ease out of the depths of the COVID-19 pandemic, our core focus is growth and investment.
