It's time to switch: Green lid bins (food and garden waste) are collected weekly from August and red landfill bins every fortnight, to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill.

Bike path upgrades
Monash Walking and Cycling Strategy
Council has increased spending on bike path upgrades in recent years. The increased funding responds to feedback from residents who have said Monash needs better bike paths.
The focus continues to be on upgrading existing paths to meet modern standards. Narrow paths are being replaced with 3m-wide concrete paths, improving safety and comfort for cyclists and walkers.
