Children & Family

We aim to provide Monash families with access to services that are family-centred and responsive to their needs. We are also committed to being a child-safe organisation and have zero tolerance for abuse of children and young people.

Maternal & Child Health

Maternal and Child Health Services provides health and development assessment for all families with young children aged from birth to 4 years.

Child and Family Hubs

Child and family hubs provide many services to support the development and wellbeing of Monash's youngest residents and their families.

Immunisation

Monash Council Immunisation Services offers free vaccinations, available through the National Immunisation Program Schedule for infants, school children and adults who have, or are eligible for, a Medicare card.

Child Care

Council provides several child care services including managing a child care centre at Brine Street.

Kindergartens

Kindergarten is an early childhood education program delivered by qualified early childhood educators. Monash Council maintains a Central Enrolment Register for 32 kindergartens in the municipality.
