Council has completed a $357,000 upgrade of the playing field and baseball facilities at Gladeswood Reserve, Mulgrave.

The upgraded facility will be home to the Monash University Baseball Club, which had to relocate to accommodate the new Victorian Heart Hospital being built at Monash University. We thank the university for its contribution of $307,800 towards the total project cost.

The works included:

  • New fence mesh and a fly ball net
  • Removal of existing cricket wicket
  • Renovation of the baseball diamond, including new drainage and irrigation systems
  • Installation of new warm-season grass
  • New coaches boxes and synthetic grass pads.
