The Friends of Damper Creek Conservation Reserve invite the community to be involved in the environmental restoration of the Fern Gully area.

The planting day will help indigenous plants to provide habitat for small birds, stabilise banks to prevent erosion and improve water quality.

This event is supported by Melbourne Water.

Note: Planting site is a short walk from the meeting point (located between Bengal Cres and Swayfield Road, Mount Waverley)

Bring or wear: Wear sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothes including long sleeves, hats, rain jackets and gardening gloves. Sunscreen, insect repellent, water bottle and BYO mug.

Physical activity: Moderately strenuous, involves planting
