There are 9 licensed brothels in the Monash municipality, 8 operating and 1 yet to open.

Council receives about 10-12 enquiries each year about potential illegal brothels. These complaints are referred to the SICU team at Victoria Police. We are unable to confirm how many of these are confirmed as being an illegal operation.
