Council is joining the fight to end period poverty and we need your help.

We're calling for residents to donate sanitary and period products including pads, tampons, maternity pads, incontinence pads, brand new reusable pads, period underwear, and menstrual cups across 10 sites in Monash.

Periods don't stop when times are tough, or in an emergency. But all too often in crisis situations, girls, women, and people who menstruate struggle to manage their periods with dignity, as access to basic supplies and essential health services becomes limited.

We want to support women, girls and anyone who menstruates across our entire community by raising awareness of period poverty and normalising menstruation and wider discussions around period health.

Share the Dignity is a charity which works to make a real, on-the-ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. Each year they collect hundreds of thousands of period products through collection drives and campaigns and distribute these products to charities which assist women, girls, and anyone who menstruates who needs support.

Join the fight and donate menstrual products this March.

All donations must be brand new, still sealed in their original packaging, and must comply with Australian quality standards. Loose pads or tampons or used reusable items are not accepted.
