Positive Ageing Leadership

Criteria

This award acknowledges individuals for their contributions to the community while embodying a positive attitude towards ageing.

Our aim is to formally recognise the valuable efforts of older adults who, through their work and volunteering, inspire and assist others.

To be eligible for this award, nominees will:

  • Be at least 60 years old as of 1 July in the year of nomination
  • Be actively living, working, or participating in regular activities within Monash
  • Show how they positively contribute to the community by embracing a positive attitude towards aging
  • Give their time to make a meaningful impact on another person or community group within Monash
  • Are actively engaged in voluntary activities that contribute to the benefit of the community.

 

This award aims to honour individuals who exemplify positive ageing leadership through their selfless dedication to enhancing the lives of others in the Monash community.
