Immunisation Online Bookings and Updates

Every month, we hold immunisation sessions for routine scheduled vaccines on the National Immunisation Program (NIP) for infants, children, adolescents, and adults who have, or are eligible for, a Medicare card.

Access to free NIP vaccines requires a person to hold or be eligible for a Medicare card. For further information on eligibility, refer to the Immunisation Schedule Victoria and Eligibility criteria.

Refugees and humanitarian entrants of any age are eligible to receive free catch-up vaccines under the NIP.

The following vaccines can also be administered at our sessions. These can be purchased via EFTPOS/credit card:

Book online for flu vaccination sessions in May

Through the month of May, Monash Council Immunisation Services are running sessions to administer flu vaccinations to members of the Monash community. Flu vaccines for non-eligible persons cost $20 and can be paid for on the day via EFTPOS or credit card.

Monash Immunisation is using a new centralised booking platform, Central Immunisation Records Victoria (CIRV), provided by the Victorian Department of Health. Use CIRV to book an immunisation session. If you haven’t used CIRV before, you’ll need to create an account.

Attending our sessions

  • Bookings are required for all sessions.
  • Please bring your Medicare card if you have one, and your child's personal Health Record Book to the session.
  • Book appointments separately for each child. We will see both children at the earliest booked appointment time.

DO NOT take photos or recordings during our immunisation sessions.

Please do NOT attend:

  • if your child has a temperature over 38.5 degrees

We would prefer you to cancel and rebook, if:

  • you or your child and/or any member of your family is unwell
  • you or your child and/or any member of your family has COVID symptoms, has tested positive to COVID or has had a COVID test and awaiting results. 

After immunisation

  • It is important to remain at the venue for 15 minutes after immunisation for observation.
  • For information on side effects, refer to the fact sheet on 'Common Reactions to Immunisation' which is given to you at the session. 

Cancellation

You can cancel your booking through your account in CIRV and re-book online.

COVID-19 Vaccine

Monash Council do not provide COVID-19 vaccines.

Overseas records

Unfortunately, overseas records cannot be reviewed at our immunisation sessions.

Please ensure you have received an email from Monash Immunisation Services prior to attending any council sessions.
