Phil Cook

Phil is Clayton District's Under-13 Cricket Team Coach and Team Manager. He was also former Junior Coordinator and former Vice President for 12 years. Phil is described by his peers as a pillar of the Clayton District Cricket Club.

In an age where screen time is dominating many children’s lives, people like Phil are becoming even more valuable in our society.

Phil has been instrumental in promoting a passion for physical fitness, team camaraderie and discipline. Year after year players have remained with the team, a testament to the high regard the players have for their coach.

A number of players coached by Phil have progressed to higher levels including State representation.

Phil’s commitment goes well beyond what would normally be expected in a junior coaching role.
